Core Elements is a counselling and coaching practice in Lethbridge, Alberta that offers services for couples, families, individuals and teams with a focus on mind‑body‑soul wellness .
Core Elements is not a general psychology practice. We are a collective of specialists, each of us deeply trained in a focused field of expertise. Our mission is to help individuals, couples, and families achieve lasting transformation by pairing the right therapist with the right issue.
Where many clinics provide broad, surface-level services, Core Elements offers a highly specialized model:
• Alicia Hinger – Registered Psychologist, PACT-trained therapist and coach, internationally trained in couples and relationship therapies. Alicia is known for her expertise in relationships, attachment, and intimacy.
• Erin O’Toole – Therapist and Certified Coach with a decade of high-performance coaching experience. Erin specializes in performance psychology for athletes, teams, and professionals, blending sports expertise with counselling.
• Rich Luykenaar – Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in mental health and addictions. Rich brings deep expertise in recovery, trauma, and long-term resilience.
• Noël Stolz – our newest provisional psychologist , offering a fresh, compassionate approach for overwhelmed and neurodivergent women, with a focus on ADHD, anxiety, and life transitions.
Each therapist has spent thousands of hours becoming an expert in their area and continues to pursue advanced education every year. This means you’re not meeting with a generalist—you’re working with someone who has trained extensively in the precise challenges you’re facing.

What Makes Us Unique?
• Specialization, not generalization – Our therapists don’t try to “treat everything.” Each of us focuses our practice where we are most skilled and passionate.
• Cutting-edge approaches – From the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT) to equine-assisted therapy, mind-body integration, and performance coaching, we use methods grounded in neuroscience, attachment, and somatic research.
• Whole-person philosophy – We believe wellness requires attention to the mind, body, and spirit. Our acreage-based services with animals, outdoor performance spaces, and equine-facilitated therapy make us one of the few practices in Alberta offering this kind of integrated environment.
• Commitment to ongoing learning – Every year, our team invests in new training and supervision with world leaders in their fields. This ensures our clients always benefit from the most current, research-informed practices.
• Tailored matches – We help you choose a therapist not just based on availability, but based on expertise. That means a stronger fit, faster results, and a more empowering therapeutic journey.
